Enlighten a Nation 2021 Recap

This may come as a surprise to a lot of people, but 2021 was a great year for our nonprofit. We worked on growing our social media, posting more content, working with minority owned businesses and vetting scholarship applicants and giving away scholarships and donating to other nonprofits. We didn't meet all of our goals this year but here are some things we were able to achieve: We created more content than before, we worked on our website, posted more on social media, opened applications, hosted our first golf tournament and donated $750 to a Christmas Toy and Coat Drive for inner city kids. This year was so difficult and we worked so hard this year trying to fundraise and promote us and work with other businesses and most of the goals we set for ourselves, we accomplished.

Every year will come with it's challenges and difficulties and its normal to be overwhelmed with everything on your plate. We didn't expect to do all we've done this year, but there is so much more we want to work on and contribute to as a Black Owned and Woman Owned business. Becoming more consistent with our content and doing more fundraisers and giveaways is definitely on our list. We endured a lot of hardships, stress and doubt this year, but we made it through. Thank everyone for all your support and now, it's time to prepare for a new year with our reflections and learnings from last year in mind :)
